Academic City appoints Dr Sena Agbodjah as Vice president of academic affairs

Academic City University College has appointed Dr. Sena Agbodjah as the new Vice President of Academic Affairs, starting her role on June 3, 2024. Dr. Agbodjah brings a wealth of experience in academic leadership and a strong track record of excellence in higher education.

With her background as the former Head of the Business Administration Department and Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Project Management at Ashesi University, Dr. Agbodjah holds a BSc and PhD in Building Technology from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), as well as being a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Passionate about fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in higher education institutions and empowering women and youth in rural Ghana, Dr. Agbodjah is actively involved in developing African-centered early childhood education content and career guidance for high school students nationwide.

In her new role at Academic City, Dr. Agbodjah aims to create an innovative and entrepreneurial environment for the entire community, focusing on holistic development for the benefit of Ghana and the continent as a whole. Prof. Fred McBagonluri, President of Academic City, expressed excitement about Dr. Agbodjah joining the institution, foreseeing a collaborative environment that promotes creativity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.
