Abdessamad “Abde” Ezzalzouli, a Moroccan professional football player on loan from Barcelona to La Liga team Osasuna, was born on December 17, 2001. He is a Moroccan national team player who was raised in Spain but was born in Morocco. He started out as a professional player for Hércules.
Ezzalzouli, who was raised in Spain after moving there with his family when he was seven years old, began playing football as a youngster in Elche’s Carr’s district.
Hércules B coach Antonio Moreno Domínguez Ezzalzouli signed for Hércules’ reserves in 2016. He was previously part of the youth academies for several clubs, including Peña Ilicitana Raval and CD Pablo Iglesias.
Abdelhamid Ezzalzouli made his Barcelona debut in a 1-1 draw with Alavés on 30 October 2021. He became the first Moroccan-born player to feature for Barca’s first team. In September 2022, he renewed his contract with Barcelona until 2026 and was ensuingly loaned to Osasuna.
He was named in Morocco’s 26-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, which he helped his club Sevilla qualify for.
