Abbie Cornish, an Australian actress was born on 7 August 1982 in Lochinvar, New South Wales. Abbie is the second of five children of Shelley and Barry Cornish.
At the age of 13, Cornish started modeling after winning a Dolly Magazine contest. For her performance in the Australian Broadcasting Corporation television series Wildside, Cornish won the Australian Picture Institute Young Actor’s Award in 1999. She later received an offer to play the lead in the feature film The Monkey’s Mask.
Aside acting, Abbie is a renowned Rapper, singer, and songwriter. Since 2000, she has been rapping as MC Dusk. From the age of 18 to 22, she was a member of the Australian hip-hop group Blades.
Cornish accompanied American rapper Nas on his Australian tour in 2015. In the same year, she made two brand-new SoundCloud releases: “Evolve” with Jane Tyrrell and “Way Back Home,” which was made by Suffa from the Hilltop Hoods. Her first EP, Key of the Sun, was released in 2021.
