Aaron Wise is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. In 2018 he earned his inaugural win on the PGA Tour at the AT&T Byron Nelson and was named the 2018 Rookie of the Year. He was born on June 21, 1996 (age 26 years), in Cape Town, South Africa.

According to the golfer, financial constraints prevented him from competing in many elite junior golf competitions. He had his shine when he won the California Interscholastic Federation Central Division Individual Championship as a junior. That was when he caught the attention of Oregon coach Casey Martin by finishing third and fifth at the Junior World Championship in San Diego as a junior and senior in high school.
