On September 23, 1998, Aundell Terrell Jr., a cornerback for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League, was born. He played college football for Clemson and was chosen by the Falcons in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Terrell attended Westlake High School in Atlanta, Georgia. He played cornerback and wide receiver in high school. As a five-star prospect, he took part in 2017 Under Armour All-America Game. He decided to attend Clemson University to play college football.
Week 9’s 27-25 victory over the New Orleans Saints saw Terrell make 5 tackles and intercept a career-high 3 passes. In Week 11’s 0-25 loss to the New England Patriots, Terrell picked up his first interception of the year.
In Week 14’s 29-21 victory over the Carolina Panthers, Terrell received a pick. Terrell intercepted his third pass of the season against the Buffalo Bills in Week 17 of the NFL season.
On January 14, 2022, Terrell was chosen as a second-team All-Pro. He received an overall grade of 82.7 from Pro Football Focus, placing him second among cornerbacks who were eligible in 2021.
