Singer Shakira and Barcelona soccer player, Gerard Pique is believed to be good together as a married couple but as it stands they are no more together. It has even been speculated that the singer caught Pique with another woman amid the singer confirming their split.

Why Shakira and Pique never get married
Shakira and Pique have been together for more than a decade before their sudden separation. They were said to have met in 2010 and started dating a year later, in 2011. They were one of the best celebrity couples. They were listed in Forbes World’s Most Powerful Couples.
Having said that, they were not married after 12 years of dating with kids and according to the footballer in an interview with ex-footballer and former Manchester United teammate Gary Neville, he like how they were, how they function as a couple and didn’t feel the need to be married.
Shakira on the other hand has also spoken about why she was not married to the footballer even though they were together for more than a decade and have two sons together. According to her, her reason for not getting married to Pique is that the idea of marriage scares her. She added that she doesn’t want Pique to stop seeing her as his girl.
She went on to state that, It’s like that forbidden fruit, she prefers to keep Pique attentive and let him think that everything is possible depending on his behavior.
