Michael Mackenzie Lowe “Mackie” McDonald is an American professional tennis player who was born on April 16, 1995.
On February 7, 2022, he attained a career-high singles rating of world No. 49, and on August 23, 2021, he reached a career-high doubles ranking of No. 180.
In both singles and doubles, he won the NCAA Division I Tennis Championships in 2016.
McDonald reached the semifinals of the 2012 Australian Open boys’ singles.
He won the 18s singles title at the 2012 Easter Bowl and attained a career-high ranking of number 12 in the ITF World Tour Junior Rankings.
He won the men’s singles at the Ojai Tennis Tournament in 2013 while still a junior, and qualified for the 2013 Cincinnati Masters at the age of 18 by defeating top 100 players Nicolas Mahut and Steve Johnson.
