Keyontae Johnson is an American college basketball player for the Southeastern Conference’s Florida Gators.
Johnson grew raised in Norfolk, Virginia, and attended Norview High School until his junior year, when he transferred to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
After his head coach, Vince Walden, departed the school to become an assistant coach at Arkansas State, he transferred to Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia for his final year.
Johnson averaged 12.9 points and 7.6 rebounds per game in the Nike EYBL finals at Peach Jam.
He scored at least 18 points in 19 of Oak Hill’s games as a senior.
