One of Hollywood’s biggest icons William Hurt has joined his ancestors. His on confirmed his news today (March 13, 2022). He was 71.
He planned his 72nd birthday celebration on March 20, but he, unfortunately, passed away just a week before the big celebration.
According to his son who bears his legal name, William Hurt, the Oscar-winning actor died from natural causes. He said the actor died peacefully while surrounded by his family.
“It is with great sadness that the Hurt family mourns the passing of William Hurt,” he told Deadline, “beloved father and Oscar-winning actor, on March 13, 2022, one week before his 72nd birthday.”
“He died peacefully, among family, of natural causes. The family requests privacy at this time,” he added.
