Ghanaian winger Albert Adomah has secured a move to Walsall FC, signing a one-year contract with the club. The 36-year-old, who is well-known for his time at Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest, joins the Saddlers as their sixth summer signing after leaving Queens Park Rangers.
During his four seasons at QPR, Adomah made a lasting impact in the Championship, cementing his name as the record appearance holder with an impressive 528 matches under his belt. In the 2023/24 season alone, he featured in 18 games, bringing his total career appearances to a remarkable 775 matches.
The experienced winger has also played for Barnet, Bristol City, Cardiff City, Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest, and Aston Villa throughout his career. Internationally, Adomah has represented Ghana on 19 occasions, taking part in both the 2013 African Cup of Nations and the 2014 World Cup. He scored his first goal for the national team in a 1-1 draw against Canada in October 2015.
