Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has taken a stand against the prevalent culture of lateness known as “African time” in Africa.
The veteran actress expressed her disapproval of tardiness, stating that it is not only unprofessional but also disrespectful to others.
In a post on X, Kate Henshaw emphasized that there is no excuse for being late and that the common justification of “African time” is simply a sign of disrespect and rudeness.
She urged people to change their attitude and show respect for other people’s time, highlighting that being punctual is essential in all areas of life, not just when it comes to money matters or embassy appointments.
Kate Henshaw, known for her exceptional acting skills, has won numerous awards for her performances in various films.
She won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2008 and was honoured by the Nigerian federal government as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic in 2011.
