In the midst of a digital revolution and political evolution, Professor Enoch Opoku Antwi, the Dean of Business and Communication at Academic City, has launched a new book titled ‘Ghana’s Grassroot Democracy’.
With Ghana’s elections on the horizon, where political power often comes with a hefty price tag, Professor Antwi presents a fresh perspective, advocating for trust and integrity in political campaigns.
At a book launch event in Accra, Professor Antwi shared his passionate vision for a better Ghana, highlighting the importance of policymakers embracing the values outlined in his book, “Ghana’s Grassroot Democracy”.
He emphasized the crucial role of accountability, inclusivity, and transparency in nurturing a flourishing democracy, urging leaders to prioritize the voices of the grassroots.
According to Professor Antwi, “The book will inform policymakers on the values that Ghana needs as a country. In order for the country to thrive, it is imperative for us not to overlook the grassroots of democracy.”
He further stated that ‘Ghana’s Grassroot Democracy’ is not just a book but a roadmap for progress, guiding the nation towards a brighter future.
This publication aims to inspire and educate leaders and citizens alike on the fundamental principles of democracy and governance, serving as a call to action for a more transparent and inclusive political landscape in Ghana.
