In a recent interview with Joy Entertainment’s Becky, Ghanaian comedian Jacinta Ocansey shared her thoughts on the challenges she has faced in her comedy career.
Despite her aspirations to have a successful career in comedy, Jacinta admitted that she underestimated the difficulties that would come with pursuing this path.
Jacinta expressed that as she climbed higher in her career, the battles and challenges became more intense. She noted that nothing could have prepared her for the tough journey ahead, but her passion for comedy has kept her going.
“The higher you go, the more things you have to battle with, the fact that you have to be better than the last, nothing prepares you for that but it has been an amazing journey,” Jacinta said.
Having performed in comedy shows in Ghana and Nigeria, including Comedy Night with Buchi (Lagos), Shakara and the Gang (Lagos), and many others, Jacinta has established herself as a talented and resilient comedian.
