Staff members at the Mallam Atta Government Clinic were ecstatic when ASA Savings and Loans’ Newtown branch gave the medical institution some necessary supplies and sanitary goods.
Leading the team under Pope Neequaye, the company’s Newtown Area Manager, they brought along a high-speed computer set, a multipurpose printer, an adult digital weighing scale, two sets of stethoscopes, two sets of gun thermometers, two digital blood pressure monitors, and three packs of large tissue to help with facility sanitation.
The business has sponsored all of the public health facilities in the Ayawaso communities, Mr. Neequaye continued, and it will continue to do so.
According to Albee Avemegah, the Branch Manager of ASA in Newtown, “We have clients who are traders in this market, so supporting this facility will mean they are going to receive better healthcare when they visit this facility.” He continued, “This is a component of the business’s CSR.”
During the presentation, the business’s CSR/Sustainability Manager, Richard Nartey, urged corporate bodies to contribute resources to social investments, saying that the company is doing its part to help the nation achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goal 3, which is good health and well-being.
The facility’s head of nursing and midwifery, Nora Korkor Kitseh, thanked the business on behalf of the employees and urged other charitable groups and people to follow in ASA Savings and Loans’ footsteps by giving back to underprivileged public health institutions.
