Nana Ofori Owusu, the PPP’s chairman, has criticized the government for what he described as the devastation of companies, the deterioration of state institutions, and officials’ accumulation of “ill-gotten gains.”
“People must rise up and together demand a better Ghana,” he declared.
The claim was made by Nana Owusu last Tuesday during a press conference in Accra. It served to convey the party’s positions on national issues and to lay out their vision for the nation should they take over as rulers.
The PPP’s national chairman declared, “This government turns a blind eye to everything and pretends not to see anything, even though scandals scream from headlines, scandals whispered in the alleys, and the stench of corruption was heavily hanging in the air.”
Nana Owusu brought up scandals involving the exchange of money for seats, bonds for friends, vaccines for gain, and a symphony of looting by people who claimed to be serving the country but were really feasting on its carcasses.
The PPP leader declared, “Ghana belongs to all of us, so whatever wrongs the government is committing against the people will not go unnoticed and their level will become evident for everybody to see.”
