Prophet Kofi Oduro, Senior Pastor of the Alabaster International Ministry, has strongly backed the protest on February 14 against the deplorable conditions of Ghanaian football.
He did this by expressing his support for the “Save Ghana Football” protest, which is set to begin at the Obra Spot and end at Independence Square in Accra, the capital of Ghana, precisely one week from today.
Taking a picture with sports journalists Saddick Adams and Veronica Commey, who were the protest’s main organizers, the vocal pastor was holding a shirt that read “Save Ghana Football.”
It goes beyond a simple demonstration. Prophet Oduro stated, “It is a rude awakening that it can’t always be business as usual.”
The protest takes place after Ghana’s disastrous 2023 AFCON campaign, which saw the Black Stars lose in the opening round of the competition.
Ghana failed to advance from the group stage of the AFCON for the second consecutive year, missing out on a spot in the round of 16 in Cote D’Ivoire.
