The former NFL star turned co-host of “Good Morning America,” Michael Strahan, disclosed that his daughter Isabella, 20, has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.
The uncommon kind of brain cancer known as medulloblastoma, which Isabella Strahan was diagnosed with, was revealed on “Good Morning America.” After receiving the diagnosis in late October, she had radiation therapy and emergency surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Isabella’s condition is distinct since, given her age, medulloblastoma typically affects children between the ages of 5 and 9.
During her first year at the University of Southern California, Isabella started having symptoms such as migraines, nausea, and trouble walking. She initially believed it might be vertigo, but on October 25, she had blood in her vomit, which revealed a 4-centimeter tumor behind her head. She had surgery on October 27 and recovered for a month before undergoing 30 sessions of proton treatment spread over six weeks.
