Troy Dargan’s death was confirmed by the Aria Management Group on a Facebook post, “On behalf of the Dargan family, it is with a heavy heart that we share the news of TJ’s tragic passing overnight.”
Troy Dargan played two NRL games, both for South Sydney in 2020, and joined Canberra on a two-year contract for the upcoming season.

Troy Dargan was born on October 15, 1997, in Sydney, Australia. He was of Cook Islands and Indigenous Australian descent. He was educated at Knox Grammar School, Sydney. It was there that he represented the 2014 Australian Schoolboys.
Troy Dargan played his junior rugby league for Cabramatta Two Blues before signing for the Parramatta Eels.
