Character actor Camden Toy is dead. He died on December 11, 2023, at the age of 68. He was an American actor and film editor and had acted in over one hundred independent films and several television roles.

Camden Toy died after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer, according to his official Facebook page.
His partner, Bea Henderson, wrote about Toy’s deteriorating condition on Facebook last week:
“He was diagnosed in February last year after months of mysterious pain. For many reasons, we were very hopeful for, at least, a longer and more fruitful time on planet Earth. Even the more recent challenges felt more like a hiccup in progress. Unfortunately, it looks like we’ve reached the end of the road with the doctor’s treatments. His condition has declined a lot in the last 2 months and tremendously in the last several days.”

Camden Toy was born on May 31, 1955, and grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S., and his interest in the film industry was encouraged early on by his father, who worked as an actor and makeup artist.
Camden Toy was one of the founding members and artistic director of the Obie Award-winning Todo Con Nada theatre in New York City.
