Throughout his career, Marshall B. Grossman, a confrontational but well-respected Los Angeles power lawyer, represented clients like Steven Spielberg, Clint Eastwood, J.K. Rowling, and Netflix. He also successfully defended the first consumer class action lawsuit in California. He was 84.
In the course of his 55-year legal career, Grossman handled a wide range of cases for clients such as Mariah Carey, Tommy Hilfiger, Dr. Dre, Larry King, Grupo Televisa, Apple Computer, Cirque du Soleil, and Blockbuster.
Additionally, he defended Billy Bush following the release of Donald Trump’s infamous Access Hollywood video in 2016, as well as TV personality Erin Andrews in her million-dollar suit following her nude picture shoot through a hotel room peephole and the subsequent online publication of the images. Andrews, who was then employed by ESPN, was awarded $55 million.
