Lauren Stephenson is an American professional golfer. She played her college golf at Clemson University for one year and at the University of Alabama for two years. She also competed at the 2018 Curtis Cup and the 2018 Arnold Palmer Cup.
Stephenson turned professional in 2018 and finished T-8 at the LPGA Tour’s Q-Series to earn her 2019 tour card. She made 11 cuts in 20 events in 2019 to retain her card. She finished tied for 9th at the 2020 Women’s PGA Championship, qualifying her for the 2020 U.S. Women’s Open. She is sponsored by Carlisle Companies.

Lauren Stephenson has a younger sister named Hannah, who had a cancer scare. Hannah has been very supportive of her sister even though she is no golf coach, She was able to teach her older sister an important lesson: golf is just a game.
Lauren said and I quote, “My sister has been battling a cancer scare, so it’s kind of been nothing golf-related for me for the last few months,” she continue. “So, it just felt nice to be able to feel blessed to be out here and have the mindset that golf doesn’t matter. We all have real lives when we go outside of golf. Knowing that it’s just a golf tournament and I’m just here to have fun, gives me such a different perspective. I’m just super thankful to be here.”
