The 32-year-old Pierre-Hugues Herbert was born on March 18, 1991, in Schiltigheim, France and he is best received as a French professional tennis player. In doubles, he has completed the Career Grand Slam with titles at the 2015 US Open, the 2016 Wimbledon Championships, the 2018 French Open, the 2021 French Open, and the 2019 Australian Open partnering Nicolas Mahut.

Herbert won the Wimbledon boys’ doubles title with partner Kevin Krawietz in 2009, beating the French duo of Julien Obry and Adrien Puget in the final. He also reached the 2009 US Open boys’ singles semifinals, where he lost to eventual champion Bernard Tomic of Australia. He reached as high as No. 9 in the junior singles world rankings in October 2009.

Pierre-Hugues is the son of Jean-Roch Herbert his father and Marie-Laure Herbert his mother. His parents have been very supportive and his father is among the coaches who coached him. His parents are of France origin and hold their nationality.
