Helmut Siber was an Austrian football player and coach. At international level, he made eleven appearances for the Austria national team scoring four goals. His profession was also scoring goals. He was a precision mechanic in football. He looked at you and immediately knew if he could kick.
According to Siber Rosen, Siber was one of the best. A ten with speed. As a young boy, I can still remember that I once followed him to a match as a spectator so that I could see him play.

Helmut was born on May 16, 1942, to his parents and grow up as a family. But none of his family members is known, not his parents and siblings too. However, he grew up at SV Hall and played from 1964 to 1968 with the legendary Wolny-Redl-Siber axis at FC Wacker Innsbruck before suddenly moving to Kickers Offenbach (1st division GER). He returned home again in the 1970s championship season 72/73 before ending his career with the Haller Löwen as a player and in other positions also as a coach, of course over many, many years.
