Where did Chris Hanell go to college and high school?

Per Arne Christopher Hanell aka Chris Hanell is best known as a Swedish professional golfer. He turned professional in 1997 and gained his European Tour card in 1998 after finishing 13th on the European Challenge Tour money list.

Hanell claimed his first European Tour victory at the 2004 Madeira Island Open and has a best finish of 62nd place on the European Tour Order of Merit in both 1999, his rookie season, and 2004. He retired in 2008 after spending 10 years on the European Tour.

Where did Chris Hanell go to college and high school?

Hanell was born in Västervik and grew up in the same town, where he had his high school education. After high school, he made his way to the University where he attended Arizona State University in the United States and was part of the winning NCAA Division I championship team in 1996.

Hanell won two individual collegiate titles which are the 1994 Taylor Made/Big Island Intercollegiate and the 1996 Golf Digest Collegiate. He was a three-time All-American (1994, 1996, 1997) and an Academic All-American in 1997. He won the Golf Week and Golfstat Player of the Year awards in 1997.
