American professional golfer Scott Michael Dunlap is a well-known golf player currently playing on the PGA Tour Champions. Scott was born on August 16, 1963, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, however, he grew up in Sarasota, Florida.
Scott attended Sarasota High School where he graduated as the valedictorian of the class of 198. After high school, he accepted an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he played for the Florida Gators men’s golf team in NCAA competitions from 1982 to 1985.
Scott won his first PGA Tour Champions title at the Boeing Classic near Seattle that August, defeating Mark Brooks on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff.
