Jacob Solomon is currently 26 years of age and known as a professional California golfer. He turn professional in 2019.
The 26-year-old was briefly in the lead during the first round and fired a 2-under 68 in his U.S. Open debut on Thursday.
Solomon was first off on No. 1 at 6:45 a.m. local time alongside amateur Omar Morales and Deon Germishuys. He credited his early tee time for his stellar start, where he was 4-under after his first 15 holes of U.S. Open golf.

Solomon attended Auburn University from 2015 to 2019 and graduated with Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. He had his high school education at Dublin High School from 2011 to 2015.
Solomon plays the guitar. He grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended the 2008 Farmers Insurance Open on his 11th birthday. After watching Tiger Woods save par at the par-3 third hole on the South Course at Torrey Pines, he told Woods, “Great save, Tiger.” The kicker: Woods looked him in the eye and responded, “Thanks, buddy.”
