Residents of Amasaman are still in a state of sadness after news of a horrifying incident claimed the life of a 12-year-old boy.
The victim, Justice Akakpo Mensah, was allegedly murdered and got his tongue removed in the process.
Per our findings, details of the incident were shared by the victim’s father, Peter Osafo, during a recent interview on a popular morning radio show.
According to the Guardian, the tragedy unfolded last Sunday (May 14th ) as the family was getting ready to attend church.
In a routine task, Mr. Osafo asked his son to sweep while he prepared their meal. However, upon finishing cooking, he discovered that Justice was nowhere to be found, raising immediate concerns.
The family began an extensive search around 3 pm, and distressing news reached them about a body wrapped in a sack, discovered near Pokuase, with the tongue forcibly removed.
Prompted by this information, Mr. Osafo and his family rushed to the nearest police station to report the tragic discovery.
