The Minnesota Vikings made Diggs their fifth-round choice in the 2015 NFL Draft, 146th overall. A $227,000 signing bonus was guaranteed as part of his four-year, $2.5 million contract.
Diggs was out in the first three games of the season at Vikings. He was handed his first shot to play against the Denver Broncos in Week 4 as a result of the injuries to receivers Charles Johnson and Jarius Wright. He answered with six receptions on ten targets for a team-high 87 yards in Minnesota’s 23-20 defeat in Denver.

Against the Detroit Lions in Week 7, Diggs was given the starting wide receiver position in place of teammate Mike Wallace.
