In the US, Barbara Joan “Barbra” Streisand was born on April 24, 1942.

She has had a long and successful career in the entertainment industry and is one of the elite few performers to have received an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony award (EGOT).

She started dating producer/hairstylist Jon Peters in 1973. Later, he helped her career expand while overseeing it. Even after they split up in 1982 while filming Yentl, they are still close friends. She serves as the godmother for his children Caleigh and Skye Peters.

Richard Baskin, the Baskin-Robbins heir, and Streisand resided together from November 1983 to October 1987. She composed the song “Here We Are At Last” for Baskin’s 1984 album Emotion.

She dated actor Don Johnson from at least December 1987 until September 1988. They wrote “Till I Loved You” together and recorded it.

Barbra Streisand children: Meet Jason Gould

Jason Gould is the only child we know about. She gave birth to him with her ex-husband, Elliot.

Born on December 29, 1966, Jason Emanuel Gould is an American actor and singer. Gould revealed to his parents that he was gay at the age of 21. He was exposed to tabloids in 1991.

Gould played Mike Cameron in the 1989 romantic comedy-drama Say Anything…and the 1991 romantic drama The Prince of Tides (which was directed by and featured his mother); however, he hasn’t made many appearances in front of the camera since.

He performed as David, a theatre designer, in the drama play The Twilight of the Golds at the Arts Theatre in London in 1997 to make his West End theatrical debut.

Inside Out, a 1997 short comedy movie that Gould wrote, produced, and directed, stars Aaron as the offspring of two superstars who get outed by the press. In the short film, his half-brother Sam Gould played his sibling and his father Elliott Gould played his father.

Later, the short was integrated with other features to create Boys Life 3: A Compilation (2000)
