On April 11, 1969, Dustin Patrick Runnels, an American professional wrestler, was born. Currently, he wrestles for All Elite Wrestling (AEW), under the ring name Dustin Rhodes. His several appearances with WWE between 1995 and 2019 while going by the ring moniker Goldust is what gave him the most notoriety.
He is a second-generation wrestler and the half-brother of Cody Rhodes and WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes. He is also well-known for his appearances in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNAW) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW) (TNA).
On September 13, 1988, Runnels defeated Bob Cook in a bout for the Championship Wrestling from Florida (CWF) organization in Tampa, making his professional wrestling debut.
It was announced on “Road to Double or Nothing” on April 20, 2019, that Runnels would face Cody, his biological half-brother, at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view for All Elite Wrestling. (AEW). Runnels participated in Double or Nothing on May 25 as the vintage character “The Natural,” but he lost.
Dave Meltzer, a journalist and professional wrestler, gave the gathering an unqualified five stars. The brothers hugged each other after the game and shared their plans to unite once more to face The Young Bucks on July 13 at the Fight for the Fallen event.
