Why was Darius Miles arrested and what is he charged with?

In relation to a shooting on The Strip in Tuscaloosa that claimed the life of Jamea Jonae Harris, Miles was charged with capital murder with Maryland native Michael Lynn Davis.

According to Capt. Jack Kennedy of the Tuscaloosa Authorities Department, an approaching vehicle prompted the police to be called to Bryant-Denny Stadium early on Sunday morning. When emergency personnel arrived, they found Harris, a passenger, dead.

An unidentified driver reported that someone had fired shots at his car to the police. In self-defense, he exchanged fire, and he admitted to hitting one of the criminals, according to the authorities.

Kennedy stated that neither the suspects, Miles, and Davis, nor Harris or the driver had any prior acquaintances.

According to AL.com, he said during a news conference that “it appears at this time that the shooting was the result of a brief altercation that happened between the victims and suspects after they encountered one other down the strip.”

The cops did not make it clear what the dispute was specifically over. DeCarla Cotton, Harris’ mother, however, seemed to confirm that in a Facebook post:
