Teolinda Joaquina de Sousa Lança, better known as Linda de Suza, was a Portuguese Lusophone and Francophone singer, actress, and best-selling novelist who died on December 28, 2022.
Linda de Suza was born in the southern Portuguese town of Beringel, Beja (Alentejo). Suza moved to France from her native Portugal in the 1970s and began working in lowly occupations.
She was able to record music albums in the late 1970s. Tiroli-Torola, The Weeping Girl, A Child Can Make the World, and The Stranger were all popular in France. Her performance at the Paris Olympia capped her success.
