Martin Bernard Duffy, born May 18, 1967, was an English keyboardist who previously worked with Felt and most recently with Primal Scream.
Duffy was born in Birmingham and grew up in Rednal in the city’s south, going to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School in King’s Norton and listening to punk rock, 2 Tone, The Beatles, and Led Zeppelin.
In 1985, Duffy joined the indie rock band Felt as the band’s keyboard player. Duffy died on December 20, 2022, at the age of 55 but there was no mention of the cause of his death.

Duffy performed keyboards on Primal Scream’s first two albums and became a permanent member of the band after Felt dissolved at the end of 1989.
He was a part of the “rock supergroup” The Chavs in 2004, alongside Tim Burgess of The Charlatans and Carl Barât of The Libertines.
He has appeared on songs by Heidi Berry, Beth Orton, Paul Weller, and the Chemical Brothers, and in 2014 he published his debut solo album Assorted Promenades.
