Canadian actor Owais Sheikh was raised in Pakistan but was born in Germany.
After switching from photography to acting, he has participated in four art exhibitions, and made appearances in television shows and feature films made in Pakistan (Maalik, Yalghaar), Canada, and other countries (The detectives, The intersection) Owais will next be seen in two short films he has written and produced as well as a Netflix original feature.
He is fluent in three languages and has training in acting and fight choreography.
This is what he had to say in a recent interview ;
“I’ve been working in the business for about ten years, and I’ve gone from hosting television to acting in major motion pictures.
After completing five movies, I’m heading to school to study how difficult parts should be taken on.
In three languages, I have performed sequences ranging from comedy to intense psychosis for projects I have been a part of in recent years.
Interested in attending acting school this summer to broaden my skills under a qualified instructor. Additionally, I’m studying French to broaden the range of roles I may portray. ”
