Michael Bakari Jordan was born on February 9, 1987, and is an American filmmaker, producer, and actor. In the drama Fruitvale Station (2013), he played the shooting victim Oscar Grant. In Creed (2015), he played boxer Donnie Creed. And in Black Panther Wakanda Forever (2022). he played Erik Killmonger. All four of these films were written and directed by Ryan Coogler.
Before opting to pursue an acting career, Jordan worked as a child model for a number of businesses and brands, including Modell’s sporting goods and Toys “R” Us.
