Tom Owen, a stage name for Thomas William Stevenson Rowbotham (8 April 1949 – 8 November 2022), was a British actor best known for his role as Tom Simmonite in the longest-running sitcom in history, Last of the Summer Wine.
He was the son of Bill Owen, who portrayed Tom Simmonite’s father William “Compo” Simmonite in the program.
