Ian Book (born March 30, 1998) is an American football quarterback for the National Football League’s Philadelphia Eagles (NFL). He attended Notre Dame and was drafted in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints.

Book was born on March 30, 1998, in El Dorado Hills, California, and attended Oak Ridge High School. He initially committed to Washington State before switching to Notre Dame.
After narrow home victories over unranked opponents Ball State and Vanderbilt in 2018, Book was selected over Wimbush as the starter for a road game against Wake Forest. Book threw for 325 yards and two touchdowns and ran for three more, leading Notre Dame to a 56-27 victory. The following week, against #7 Stanford, Book threw for 278 yards and four touchdowns in a 38-17 victory.
Under Book, the Irish continued to climb the rankings, and in week 10, Book threw two touchdown passes and ran 23 yards for a score in the final minutes to lead No. 3 Notre Dame to a 31-21 victory over Northwestern. Book helped the Irish finish 12-0 and earn their first College Football Playoff berth, though they were defeated 30-3 by eventual national champion Clemson in the 2018 Cotton Bowl Classic. Book passed for 360 yards and five touchdowns on September 14, 2019. In a 66-14 victory over New Mexico, he also scored one rushing touchdown. He helped Notre Dame score its most points in a home opener since 1932.
