Eleanor May Simmonds, OBE (born 11 November 1991) is a British former Paralympian. Simmonds won four medals at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, including two golds, a silver, and a bronze.
She won gold in the S6 400m, setting a new world mark, gold in the S6 200m, setting another world record, silver in the S6 100m, and bronze in the S6 50m. To commemorate her two gold medals, two Royal Mail postboxes in Aldridge and Swansea were painted gold in her honor. Simmonds was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2013 New Year Honours for his contributions to Paralympic sport.
