Erling Braut Haaland, a forward for Manchester City, wants to build on his great track record of Champions League goals scored this year.

The Norwegian international has had an outstanding start to his Man City career, scoring 10 goals in his first six Premier League games.

Haaland, who has already recorded two hat tricks this season, is getting ready with his City teammates for Tuesday’s Champions League debut against Sevilla.

Haaland, who has the best goals-to-game ratio of any player in Champions League history with 23 goals in 19 appearances, is looking to continue his impressive performance in the competition.

Guardiola wants to better his recent away record in Spain while the 22-year-old will try to start City’s European season with more goals.

The City manager will oversee a squad against Sevilla for the first time in ten years, but in his previous seven Champions League away games against Spanish teams, he had only one victory.

The Premier League champions will play FC Copenhagen and Borussia Dortmund in the group stage in addition to Sevilla.
