The San Francisco Giants mourned the loss of Cristin Coleman on Thursday.
She had battled breast cancer and was the wife of former pitcher Tim Lincecum.
Coleman passed away in June, and at the time, there were local reports of her passing.
According to reports, she was a cherished administrator and teacher at Washington Elementary School in the Burlingame School District.
According to her parents’ letter to the district, Randy and Sue Coleman, Coleman passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by her family, according to the San Mateo Daily Journal.
According to the Daily Journal, the district will organize a memorial service for Cristin Coleman later in the summer or in the fall, and district officials were considering ways to honor her and her contributions to the Washington Elementary campus.
Coleman went in a convertible down Market Street with Lincecum during the 2012 World Series winning parade.
The Cy Young Award winner in 2008 and 2009, Lincecum was a four-time All-Star during his career and helped the team establish a dynasty with three World Series victories in 2010, 2012, and 2014.
