Bryan William Marchment was a Canadian ice hockey defenceman. He spent his NHL career with the Winnipeg Jets, Chicago Blackhawks, Hartford Whalers, Edmonton Oilers, Tampa Bay Lightning, San Jose Sharks, Colorado Avalanche, Toronto Maple Leafs and Calgary Flames.

Bryan played in the NHL for the Calgary Flames, the Winnipeg Jets, the Chicago Blackhawks, the Hartford Whalers, the Edmonton Oilers, the Tampa Bay Lightning, the San Jose Sharks, the Colorado Avalanche, and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Following his playing career, he served as a scout for the Sharks in the NHL and as a part-time coach for the Sharks organization.
He also participated in the 1982 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament as a young player for a Mississauga minor ice hockey team. The Ontario Hockey League’s Belleville Bulls were where Marchment started his playing career. Despite having a bright future, he spent the majority of his Jets career playing for the Moncton Hawks in the American Hockey League.
However, he did get some time in a Jets uniform, appearing in 28 games during the 1990–91 NHL season. Bryan was a high-scoring defenseman who was known more for his assists, compiling 51 assists in 56 games during the 1987–88 season, the year he was selected 16th overall by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1987 NHL Entry Chris Norton and Bryan were traded by the Jets to the Chicago Blackhawks on July 22, 1991.
