Board Chairman of Charger Limited, others honoured for their contribution to job creation in Ghana

The Board Chairman of Charger Limited, Mother Company for Happy Man Bitters, Charger Transport and Charger Money Lending Services, Emmanuel Bortey Borketey has been honoured by Ghana Job Banks for his contribution to the development of the country.

A citation presented to Emmanuel Bortey Borketey by the Ghana Job Bank read “for braving the odds to succeed as an indigenous entrepreneur who has contributed immensely to the socio-economic development of this country.

“For the purpose of job creation to many Ghanaians, especially the youth and raising their standards of living.

“For being a role model to the youth whom Ghana Job Banks has tasked itself to equip with the requisite skills to become like you in the near future.”

On the day, other enterprising Ghanaians were also honoured for their diverse contributions towards the development of the country.

 

Ghana Job Bank is a digital training cohort programme that seeks to create employment opportunities for the youth through technology and technical training.

It seeks to adopt a technology and game changing career models that focus on building an ultimate platform to engage young people as we accelerate business development, youth involvement, industrialization and trading, rural transformation, and social media networking.
