Rapper Joey B has condemned Ghanaians for their hypocrisy.
According to him, the music industry has suffered and fails to grow because Ghanaians have failed at encouraging artiste.
He indicated that Ghanaians will rather tease an artiste who loses a competition rather than encourage him to do more.
He said “you want to know why Ghana Music isnt going where its supposed to go? the problem is You. How do you mock an artiste when he/she doesn’t win in a competition? i just cannot fathom this. aren’t we supposed to wish the artiste better luck next time? you dampen one’s spirit by putting them down while they’re trying to achieve something. Lets do better, lets uplift ourselves”.
