Outrage as a 61-year-old Florida man ties the knot with his Goddaughter who recently turned 18 years.
A Twitter user blew the cover on the man, with screenshots of photos from their wedding ceremony held at an unidentified church in Florida, United States of America.
Michael Haugabook, 61, tied the knot with Deja Haugabook, 18, despite her age.
And after outrage on social media, Deja Haugabook released a video on Facebook asking people calling her husband a predator to mind their business because he’s her predator, not theirs.
“You’re all jealous. He’s my predator” she said in the video she said.
She said she’s grown despite being 18 and it was her decision to marry an older man because younger men don’t know what they want and they go from one woman to another.
Deja Haugabook continued that people are jealous and that most of them are still living with their mothers at 18.
Deja has a 1-year-old daughter and is also caring for Michael’s 3 kids, making it 4 kids she’s responsible for at 18.
Deja’s mother used to date Michael Haugabook. Now, her daughter is married to the same man she used to date.
Michael, on the other hand, slammed critics of their marriage in a Facebook post, saying: “It seems like I’m the only N*gga in this town has married a young woman but since it’s me they got to have something 2 talk about. Look like you little girls are jealous of my wife but keep on promoting us I love it.”
