In a recent development, the Accra Circuit Court has decided to remand a 40-year-old tile setter into police custody for raining insults at President Nana Akuffo-Addo.
The accused, identified as Raphael Okoe Ankrah, widely known as Okoe Killer, was apprehended by law enforcement authorities following the circulation of a video on social media, which depicted Ankrah using highly offensive language directed at the President.
Upon his arrest, Ankrah pleaded not guilty to the charges of offensive conduct, which is deemed to incite breaches of the peace.

Mr Samuel Bright Acquah, the presiding judge, ordered Ankrah to be detained until May 30, 2023, when he will be required to appear before the court once again.
This incident has undoubtedly ignited an online debate on Twitter and other socials due to the conduct of this Ga native.
