A 29-year-old game boy, Fuseini Ibrahim, is currently in police custody in Tamale for allegedly shooting and killing his colleague, Sulemana, in a heated argument that turned deadly.

The incident occurred in the suburb of Gukpegu-tua on Friday, April 19, 2024. According to sources in the community, the deceased was filming the suspect during their argument, which seemed to have triggered the suspect to pull out a pistol and shoot the victim in the head three times, resulting in his death.

The situation escalated quickly, with community members calling the police to prevent the suspect from being lynched by the angry residents.

In a retaliatory move, the residents set fire to the suspect’s room as an act of anger towards the tragic event. The incident has left the community in shock and mourning over the loss of a life due to a senseless act of violence.
