Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani presented the much-anticipated nominees for the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on Instagram Live this morning. The annual awards event, presented by Silent House Productions in conjunction with SAG-AFTRA, will air live on Netflix on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall.
‘Barbie’s’ star-studded cast earned a prominent spot on the nominees list. The movie was much anticipated.
The movie, which had an amazing cast, was nominated for several awards. Among the notable nominees are Kate McKinnon as Barbie, Ryan Gosling as Ken, America Ferrera as Gloria, Michael Cera as Allan, and Helen Mirren as the narrator.
‘Barbie’ has emerged as a strong contender in this year’s awards season because to her engaging performances.
‘Oppenheimer,’ the historical drama, is another notable nomination. An outstanding cast is included in the film, which explores the complex web of individuals engaged in the construction of the atomic bomb.
Kenneth Branagh as Niels Bohr, Florence Pugh as Jean Tatlock, Emily Blunt as Kitty Oppenheimer, and Casey Affleck as Boris Pash are a few of the notable entries.
