Rev. Osei Kofi, James Kuuku Dadzie, Kofi Pare, and Willie Klutse, four winners of the Africa Cup of Nations, visited the Black Stars training facility in Benger Ville on Saturday to inspire the team before their last group B match against Mozambique on Monday.

Asante Kotoko and Ghanaian legend Rev. Osei Kofi shared first place in the 1965 Africa Cup of Nations competition, which took place in Tunisia. Ghana went on to win the competition for the second time, thanks to his performance. In addition, he scored the third-most goals during Ethiopia’s 1968 Africa Cup of Nations.
In addition to participating in the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, Kofi Pare was a member of the squad that won the 1965 Africa Cup of Nations. Having scored the most goals in a single game in Ghanaian history—six—he has an amazing record.
One of the best central defenders to come out of Ghana is James Kuuku Dadzie. He was a vital member of the team that participated in the African Cup of Nations in both 1978 and 1980, which enabled Ghana to become the first nation to win the tournament three times. In the 1978 edition, he helped Ghana secure the championship after defeating Uganda 2-0 in the finals.
Former Tema Youth SC, Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs, and Black Queens coach Kuuku Dadzie. Willie Klutse scored in the game against Nigeria while playing for the Ghana team that won the 1978 Africa Cup of Nations, which was hosted in Ghana. Currently, he serves as Inter Allies Football Club’s technical director after leaving the Premier League.
