As a reward for his hard work and dedication, Owusu will be receiving a set of gloves and a customized shirt from the retired National Goalkeepers Association of Ghana. The GFA statement highlighted Owusu’s exceptional skills and his importance to the Accra Lions team.
Owusu was able to clinch the goalkeeper of the month award for April by outshining tough competition from other talented goalkeepers such as Ernest Kussi of Bibiani Gold Stars, Kofi Baah of FC Samartex 1996, and Lawrence Kyei of Kpando Heart of Lions.
