Iranian professional footballer Ehsan Hajsafi (Persian: born 25 February 1990) captains the Iran national team in addition to playing left defender for Greek Super League club AEK Athens.
Hajsafi is recognized as a versatile player due to his ability to play as a winger, defensive midfielder, left midfielder, and left-back. Goal.com named Hajsafi the most promising player in Asian football in 2009.
